Let's Make a Statement...

 

One of my favorite accessories to wear with an outfit is a statement necklace.  A statement necklace can add both boldness and color to an outfit.  In many cases, statement necklaces complete an outfit.  There are all kinds of ways you can pair an outfit with a necklace.  You can have a very plain or a busy outfit and still be able to wear a statement necklace.

 Below I have provided different ways you can wear a statement necklace.

Circle Skirt Cycle

As you know, things in fashion go in and out of styles over many years.  One style that has come back again that was very popular in the 50's was the Circle Skirt!!!  Circle Skirts are very fun, classy, and feminine.  You can pair the skirts with heels, a clutch, sweater, and a statement necklace.  An example of an outfit described is to the right.  This outfit is perfect for going out to dinner, a party, etc.

Foil Leggings, huh?

One of my new fashion finds that I cannot get enough of are foil leggings/jeans.  These jeans are very bold and classy.  They can be paired with a simple sweater and bring a  kick into the outfit.  Below, the model has matched a neon yellow sweater with a  pair of silver foil jeans.  This outfit choice makes both colors stand out beautifully.  Pair it with some cute heals and a clutch and you are set for an outing with your friends!

Thanksgiving Outfit

Hello ladies,

As you know, Thanksgiving is coming up very soon; it is exactly 24 days away!!!  It may seem like a very long time, however it is always good to have a planned outfit for any occasion. 

One disturbing thought comes to mind when picking outfits for holidays.....

HORRIBLE Holiday sweaters.

 

Instead of wearing the worst outfit possible, below I have displayed a trendy and fall appropriate outfit. 

 

Above, I have paired a military green trench coat with a fabulous white laced mini from H&M.  Since the dress is short, I am also wearing leggings, which are very in style for the fall.  Last but not least, I am wearing riding boots from DSW.  Although fashion rule is not to wear white after labor day and do not pair black and brown, I believe there are NO rules in fashion.  If the colors look good and you feel confident wearing the outfit, I believe you should wear it.

Fall Trends for Less

Hey everyone,

It has a very long time since I have posted.  School has started and I am busy, busy! haha.  Anyways, the seasons have changed and once again it is fall, my favorite season.  Fall is my favorite season due to the new trends it brings; Trench coats, Sweaters, Riding Boots, Dark Jeans, Fashion Scarves, what is not to love? One thing that is not loved by shoppers is the high prices. However, being on trend is not all about draining you wallets ladies! In today's blog two articles of clothing are compared which  look very similar however one is less expensive than the other.
